Math Logic browser extension · Effective September 23, 2026

Summary: Math Logic works inside your browser. It has no server of its own, no accounts, no analytics and no ads. What you type stays on your device. The one exception is a feature you switch on yourself: optional AI conversion sends only the phrase you're converting to the AI provider you choose, using your own API key.

1. What happens to the text you type

To offer suggestions, Math Logic reads the text in the box you're typing in, mainly the characters just before your cursor. For example, it looks for \forall, x^2 or /math …. This happens entirely in your browser. The text is not stored, logged or sent anywhere.

Math Logic does not act in password fields, and it ignores code blocks and code editors.

2. Optional AI conversion

AI conversion is off by default. It works only after you add an API key and tick "I understand. Turn on AI conversion." in Settings. When it's on:

You can turn AI conversion off at any time by unticking the box in Settings.

3. What is stored, and where

DataWhere it's stored
Your settings: output format, smart operators, paused sites, your own shortcutsChrome's extension storage. If you're signed in to Chrome with sync on, Chrome syncs these across your own devices.

Math Logic doesn't collect any of this. It stays in your browser, and removing the extension deletes it.

5. Permissions, and why they're needed

6. Children

Math Logic doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
